West Sussex Honey Set
The set honey is from our first harvest, extracted at the beginning of June. The local farmland had grown Oil Seed Rape, which the bees love.
Bluebells, Gorse and Blackthorn were also in abundance. The glucose in the OSR nectar is higher, than in most other flowers, which causes the honey to set.
Very sweet and fruity, this honey is ideal for spreading on a slice of wholemeal bread and butter.
